the best thing about today was spotting globe artichokes (i had forgotten that they were perennial), berries all over the bushes, and baby plums and pears forming on the trees..
the garden was completely neglected over winter/early spring, and nothing new put in, but food is still growing amongst the thick forest of weeds and 7 foot tall, inedible rainbow chard.
